I am a licensed therapist with a specific specialty, expertise, knowledge, and experience in addictions and dependency. While this is a specific focus, I recognize and understand the many facets of an individual as a whole and address the importance of mental and physical health, finances, legal issues, career, and interpersonal relationships toward recovery and well-being.

I am currently only taking couples or family clients cash pay, and I offer a sliding scale. Common areas I can help with: Better ways to address conflict, help to stop avoiding topics, more effective communication, building trust, support and relationship strengthening after death of a child, and evaluation of current relational strengths and areas for growth. Couples therapy is hard work, and if everyone is willing to be flexible and try new things, change can happen very quickly!

My passion to help others and offer support to those around me was innate from a young age. Through my various careers, I felt most fulfilled when I was offered opportunities to watch others grow and thrive in ways they did not think were possible. Prior to my role as counselor, I have had the pleasure to serve as an educator and teacher in both the private and public sectors. Through my journey to become a counselor, I have served others in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, hospice, and non-profit organizations. I welcome individuals from all and any walks of life and look forward to working with you.

I provide community based services using a variety of techniques. People truly desire happiness and want to perform at their highest levels but life places "blocks" that prevent them from reaching those goals. My unique educational and professional background of Clinical and Sport & Performance Psychology as well as 8 years experience of being a licensed special education teacher enables me to provide a combination of services unlike that of any other clinician in the state.
