Feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out? Life can sometimes feel like you’ve hit a wall—where anxiety, depression, failing relationships, self-doubt, physical symptoms, etc. signal that what once worked for you just isn’t cutting it anymore. While it may not feel good, this moment can be a powerful catalyst to begin creating the change you desire in your life . By facing the shadows of your past and present, you can strip them of their power. This isn’t an overnight fix, but it is the start of your journey toward freedom and empowerment. And you don’t have to do it alone—we can work together toward healing and growth.

Moving through life is like writing a book. We are all composing our own stories. Sometimes we get stuck, due to choices, events or behaviors. It’s like a bookmark getting put in the pages of our story and when we try to move forward, the pages fall open to that bookmarked, painful memory. With the help of therapy, we can heal from that pain and take the bookmark out of the book of our life. The pages remain, but they serve to make us stronger & wiser as we fill in the empty page before us today. By learning new skills and gaining the ability to adapt, we can move forward with a sense of purpose and peace.

Hi! :) I frequently work with women who are trying to leave or have recently left an abusive relationship. You might notice you want to find independence and discover your identity outside of the relationship and are still impacted by the pain you went through. We will explore attachment wounds, trauma(s), and/or other emotional burdens that need attention and relief. We will work together to help you find ways to move forward with your life in a new, healthier direction. I also work with folks who have unresolved childhood trauma and notice symptoms of discomfort that they are ready to leave in the past.

Though I work with people of all walks of life, I focus primarily with teenage girls and those with chronic illness. While these populations are seemingly different, their goals are similar: being seen, heard and validated. In my work with those afflicted with chronic illness and pain, I feel it is my duty to support and validate your diagnosis, perhaps for the very first time. Chronic illness can be incredibly lonely and isolating. I want to give you the space to mourn what you have lost, while also offering perspective to embark on a new path forward.

When you’re feeling stuck in a constant loop of existential anxiety, worst-case scenarios, and self-criticism, finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. You might struggle with anxiety when there’s a change in plans or when your partner or friend seems “off." Maybe you don’t even know what triggers it - all of a sudden you might feel on edge or jumpy, maybe to the point of tears or panic. You've likely tried the self-help books, the deep breathing, the yoga, and you may feel frustrated that it seems to be working for everyone else while you remain stuck.
