I ascribe to a humanistic and psychodynamic approach and philosophy of counseling with some cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) mixed in. I focus on client’s emotions, perspectives, and life experiences, rather than just treating symptoms. I believe incongruence, internalized conditions of worth, and unhealthy core beliefs contribute to emotional and psychological distress. Each client is different, what works for one will not work for all. I use a dynamically informed approach in order to create a treatment plan that is best suited to a client's unique needs and goals.

My passion is helping individuals navigate the complexities of life and the myriad emotions (be it anxiety, depression, frustration, or a feeling of being "stuck" in life) that are part of the human experience. I aspire to help youth as well as parents find solutions tailored to their priorities and goals, keeping the best interests of the client at the forefront of my work. My clinical approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, while also incorporating elements of person-centered therapy. I’m also a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, which means that I pay attention to the whole person- mind/body/spirit. In session, we will take time to “be with”emotional discomfort- which is much more manageable with support. I have over 15 years of experience working with teens and adults. My passions include providing affirming care to the transgender and nonbinary community (ages 14+) and treating sexual and other trauma, including complex PTSD. I do this with an eclectic approach, borrowing techniques and theory from several different areas (DBT, IFS, EMDR, Humanism and psychoeducation). I collaborate with each of my clients to provide care tailored to their needs. I am dually licensed in Texas and Oregon.

I am a Play Therapist passionate about working with children experiencing behavioral issues, oppositional tendencies, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use a variety of therapies including Adlerian Play Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy. In addition, I am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapy License to further enhance my skills as a therapist.

I've built a small, boutique practice that gives each client the time and access they need to a psychologist. You won't be one of 35 clients seen in a week, which is typical in most practices. Instead you will have a dedicated, compassionate psychologist provide you the most evidence-based psychological therapy, coaching, or consultation. This practice is ideal for busy professionals, executives, attorneys, tech leaders, and adolescents with complex needs. I cap my panel to 21 clients a week so each client gets what they need and deserve. I currently can practice telepsychology across the country in 40 states.
