Times are changing fast - take inventory - of what you have and what you know. Be clear and calm about what you do not know. Yet. This will help. The goal is to respond - not react. You are resourceful. Look through the listings. Plenty of qualified people are available. Talk to some of us. You will get a better idea in a few minutes on the phone than by visiting dozens of websites - and I have a very useful website. My clients range from doctors to artists, from students to people becoming more engaged students of life. Let's talk about how you can become more wisely engaged in your life. We will find our way through this crisis.

Psychological testing is a method of gathering and analyzing individualized data in order to better understand an individual’s personality, including diagnostic criteria and how the brain functions across a variety of tasks, such as attention or problem solving. Currently, DTS is able to offer in-depth diagnosis testing (including ADHD testing) as well as Autism testing, learning disorders, and IQ testing. The cost varies for each testing, starting at $1500. While we are in network with insurance (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and Tricare), they do not always cover the cost of testing.

Hey there! My name is Garrett (he/him/his). Being human is tough. For me, growing up as a queer kid in the south certainly had its challenges. For a long time I felt that these challenges were all too big to face. Not until my mid 20’s did I finally decide to try therapy, and it changed my life. From that point on, I knew at some point I wanted to work in this field. Now I get to work with people and face their challenges alongside them. These challenges can include anxiety, depression, spiritual abuse, relational distress, and much more.

After 15+ years of practice and training other therapists, I have learned working with someone who “gets” you can be nurturing and healing. I believe this happens when the therapist brings their personal authenticity to your session, and research tells us this is one of the most critical elements in therapy. Listening deeply, asking the right questions, and providing honest and helpful feedback tailored to your personality are the other skills that complete the picture. It is my passion to help people to change painful patterns, to heal, to become whole, and to find their life’s joy and fulfillment.

Being the best version of yourself in every situation and every relationship is exhausting when you aren't functioning at your best. I collaborate with individuals looking to discover and establish a healing environment to work through experiences that continue to impact your day-to-day life. I understand the intricacies of trauma, both significant and subtle, and I firmly believe in your ability to heal in a manner that respects your true and authentic self. If you face challenges in need of support, I want to help navigate those with you.

While working with couples and families, I often see this pattern of listening to respond or proclaiming an assumption before truly hearing their loved one. It’s an unfortunate habit that can create insecurity, fear, anxiety, and distrust in relationships. Sometimes, slowing down and paying closer attention to the pattern of communication will help us catch these fears, concerns, insecurities or misunderstandings. Perhaps you’re feeling tired, frustrated, judged, or worst of all, alone.

Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Katherine Noel Baker, LPC. I specialize in transitions like life changes related to pregnancy, adjustment to early motherhood, challenges associated with long distance moves and the experience of anxiety and overwhelm. During big transitions we may find ourselves questioning our identity and purpose. The transition from familiar to unknown can feel isolating. I want to be here to walk through those hard moments and to listen as you uncover the truths inside you and find your next step forward.

You do NOT have to leave your Faith at the door! I work with Christians looking to incorporate their Faith into their therapeutic journey. Perhaps you have been struggling with all that life has been throwing you - grief, loss, breakup, workplace stress, or family issues. Maybe you have felt alone in your journey and have questioned whether God even sees or hears you. If that's YOU, I'd love to walk beside you and help you heal from past trauma, learn healthy coping skills, and teach you how to live a more abundant life! I also provide training and consulting for Faith-based organizations looking to learn more about Wellness.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I struggled with drug and alcohol addiction at an early age. Today, I am proud to say that I have maintained sobriety since 2008. My desire to help others launched me into an academic and career path focused on helping those and their families impacted with addiction and mental health issues. I have worked in several different treatment settings, such as hospitals, residential treatment, and sober living. I utilize several different modalities and approaches to therapy to work with individuals, couples, and families. I also do interventions on those battling any addiction.
