Maybe you are here because you're feeling stressed after a difficult, scary, or painful life event. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed and isolated by your emotions. Maybe you're already feeling not good enough and the idea of talking to someone feels like a lot. But at the same time, you're considering that what you need most might be acceptance and a safe person to process with. If you or your child/teen are feeling stuck, I am glad you are here! I can help you reconnect with your sense of calm and work through your struggles to find your growth.

I help new-ish parents and new-ish adults get unstuck from a life of disconnection. Maybe you feel guilty for wanting more. Don't you already have the job, the partner, maybe kids? Even still, the edges are starting to fray and you don't feel connected to yourself and others in the ways you want. The self-help books, podcasts, and the mindfulness apps kind of helped, but there is still something missing. Maybe you've tried therapy before, but it didn't go deep enough. That might have left you with a feeling that maybe you were right, and you are just too much.

Unconditional personal acceptance, honesty, and if it's a good fit: trust. This is the where therapy has power. And in a society increasingly isolated and detached, we are tragically under-resourced in our suffering. If you've found yourself ready to try and paint a different picture, I can help. We can be open minded with what that looks like, sometimes it resembles examining your thoughts, sometimes connecting with and learning from your emotions. Sometimes we need a safe, human connection to hear and to heal the burdens of our past and present. My first task is to learn what it is you need; it's ok if that's yours too.

My focus is around deep transformational work with clients. I prefer to work with clients that are highly motivated to change their lives from the inside out. I assist clients in taking a look at their current mindset, behaviors and patterns that may be holding them back or keeping them stuck and work to curate a more empowering belief system and narrative that can propel them forward towards positive change. I focus on subconscious reprogramming, narrative therapy and embodiment practices.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. I am so glad you are here, taking the first step toward your goals! While this might feel like an "easy" step, I want you to know that it is a very important one. As a therapist, I believe the relationship between you and I is meant to emphasize your strengths while also empowering you to make changes you believe would improve your quality of life.

Adversities can rob you of peace and affect your ability to stay on life’s course. The distress experienced in today’s world can be associated with toxic stress, cycles of trauma, depression, grief, fear or experiences of racial and social injustices. The way you respond to life’s difficulties matters. True healing occurs when you give yourself permission to explore and face frightening or limiting beliefs that may live beneath emotions causing discomfort and pain.

I believe that all humans have a resilient spirit which allows them to overcome any obstacle before them. Sometimes we forget who we are or perhaps we never fully knew. Maybe we felt we were never able to be our authentic selves. It's possible we think there's something wrong with us or we're broken. Or is it that we struggle to manage mental health symptoms and we become emotionally deregulated and filled with shame? Maybe you think that you have gone to far and there is no hope for you. You are not alone. I have helped countless people with stories like these and many more. What ever it is that is holding you back, I can help.

There's so much keeping us alienated from our true selves. Our lives are impacted by systemic oppression, generational trauma, cultural pressure, relationships, and even ourselves - interactions that cause harm and leave us feeling unsafe and unseen. The symptoms of these impacts, if not annihilating, leave us disconnected, discouraged, drained. I believe that therapy is a process of changing our relationship to ourselves and our experience so we can transform our presence in the world around us. We have much to heal from and the more we’re aware of our systems, selves, bodies, and triggers the better we are at living.

Hi! Here you are with the imagination to find a different way of doing life using therapy as a guide, how amazing. I am licensed in Missouri, Kansas & Indiana for virtual therapy services and in person at my office in Overland Park, KS. I am also a Life Coach offering virtual sessions outside of MO, KS, & IN. It is my mission to remind you who you really are- joyful, abundant, whole, sacred, creative, and wise. And use that knowing to reclaim a life that feels unapologetically yours. Together we will uncover the parts of you that feel too unclear to name, much less learn from. That is where the magic happens.

In today’s society, emotional resiliency is a necessity, as stressors of everyday life can overwhelm, confuse, and disorient our minds. We struggle to be productive, feel fulfilled, and maintain healthy relationships with ourselves and others. Stress, anxiety, depression, loss, grief, and other adverse experiences can take a long-term toll on our health and overall happiness. We all strive to obtain this happiness, yet a great deal of us struggle to cope with daily tasks, and it can be even harder to make a positive change in our lives without proper motivation, validation, and support. That’s why I’m here!

I partner with clients in order to support their individual needs in the areas of depression, anxiety, addictions, stress, trauma and grief.
I know it can be challenging and overwhelming to seek therapy, but you deserve to explore healing, self-compassion and hope. I believe in the potential for all humans to grow and change and would like to embark on a journey with you to ease the suffering in your life. Many circumstances and events from our past or in our present can create obstacles to our sense of peace with ourselves. You may be feeling alone, stuck, unworthy, scared or angry. I can offer an integrative approach that is not a "one-size-fits all", but rather one based on your unique needs and history.

I have experience in counseling a wide variety of clients, but my passions lie in trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and low self esteem, affecting teens and adults.
My goal in therapy is to assist you in finding the best version of yourself. For so many, our best qualities are stuck behind trauma, learned behaviors, and negative thinking. I am here to help you unpack the hurt you’ve been through and make sense of it. If you feel like you don't really know yourself or you're just kind of going through the motions - I want to help you find purpose within your day to day lives. Time is going to move no matter what. With a little help from some therapy, I hope that you'll start to feel more in control of your life and your time.

I’m the person you want to see when you are ready to be challenged, encouraged, and guided through your life story. I’m someone who understands why we behave the way we do, and that these behaviors are learned and adaptive. There is nothing wrong with you, and I am here to challenge your thoughts against this. I genuinely enjoy working with clients who have found themselves in a place they didn't think they would be. I will walk you through what is happening in your life, not around it. I help my clients learn who they are, navigate their own needs and desires, and learn how to walk through life with compassion for themselves.
