I applaud you for taking a leap of faith, looking for a therapist who sees and appreciates you at your most vulnerable and potentially most confused state of mind. Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task when you're searching for a connection beyond just treatment modalities and licenses. I understand it's more than just qualifications. My approach to healing is deeply personal; I meet you where you are and tailor my skills and treatments to help you move in the direction you desire. My own experiences have shaped me as I’ve worked through my own trauma and barriers in life, healing myself while helping others heal.

I work with children, teens, and adults with life issues such as trauma, anxiety, anger, self-harm, and relationship issues. With a focus on fostering resilience and emotional well-being, I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, regardless of age.

When we are in the eye of the storm; it's difficult to sort through what is happening around us, and how it affects us on the inside. Simply starting therapy is often the hardest part. What if the therapist isn't a good fit? Am I ready to open up? Does getting help mean I am weak? But-what if it all worked out? We provide warm, engaging counseling for kids, teens and adults. We do laughter, we do healing.

Contentment and peace are achievable! No problem is too small or insignificant for therapy. Are you not as productive, fulfilled, or successful as you would like? Experiencing a phase of life transition like retirement or empty nest? Struggling with grief? Difficulty communicating with your partner or other important people in your life? You don't have to navigate these issues alone. Assisting and supporting you in achieving your maximum level of productivity, functioning, and happiness is my main goal. It is an honor, as well as a serious responsibility, to be chosen to assist you in this process.

Each life transition or stage can bring a combination of uncertainty and hope. Impactful life transitions include moments of processing loss and dealing with grief. Oftentimes, these moments bring on feelings of hopelessness, sadness, and loneliness. My job is to offer a secure space to help you through these powerful feelings and difficult times. In practicing from a strengths-based or client-centered lens, some of the most profound moments have been guiding clients to discover their resilience, strengths, and abilities to cope with presenting challenges. Clients of all backgrounds and identities are welcome in my practice.

It is no secret that mental distress can be a devastating roadblock in life. It is my hope that together, we can create a completely safe and understanding environment in which we can work together toward achieving balance, implementing healthy coping strategies, and navigating life’s many obstacles toward growth. Therapy can be quite a daunting step to take for many, but I have no doubt in my mind that together, we can lay the foundation for personal growth.

Hello, some of my strengths include identifying and cultivating strengths in others, giving language to complex feelings, detangling complex issues and finding paths to wholeness. My goal in therapy is to support others to reach their personal goals and even help them identify what those may be if they are unsure. My ideal Patient is motivated to change and open to trying various techniques. I'm dual licensed in the States of Massachusetts and Illinois and provide only Teletherapy. I've been in clinical practice since 2013, yet have 20 years of experience through mentoring young adults.

Hi, I’m Kat! I deeply believe in the power of relationship on the journey that is healing. Therapy is a place to create a safe, therapeutic relationship to begin the healing. Many evenings on my drive home after seeing clients, I notice myself feeling immensely honored and humbled to do this work. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and whole again. And I would love to sit with you and guide you through that process.

Life is full of challenges. And sometimes we all need support. I have 2 passions; Autism and Women's Issues. I recognized many years ago that services for people with high functioning autism are lacking in our nation. They tend to fall in the cracks because people believe they don't need support. People with high functioning autism do need support, but that support needs to be uniquely designed for them. That's where I come in. My second passion, Women's Issues, has been some of my most meaningful work. Women face unique challenges in our culture, and it helps to have a therapist that understands these issues.

You’re feeling stuck, unhappy with where your life is, afraid to make the next decision, or afraid that you’ve already made the wrong decision. You fight with the inner voice of doubt and anxiety every day and don’t know where to turn. Maybe you're stuck in a harmful habit like gambling, excessive social media, or excessive porn usage. You may look like you have it all together in your career, your relationships, and to anyone looking at your life from the outside, but you don’t feel successful. You’re tired of working so hard to keep up appearances, life shouldn’t be this hard.

My approach to therapy is dually focused: I offer evidenced based interventions that teach skills and concepts to help you better manage emotional and mental discomfort. I also focus on insight, so I like to explore the deeper self, your existential curiosity, core beliefs, and values. I have found this approach can increase resilience, foster healing, and allow growth. I am collaborative, encouraging, and enjoy incorporating laughter and humor into sessions when appropriate.
