I believe in the capacity of the human spirit to grow and change and that psychotherapy is a powerful means for this kind of transformation. As a therapist, you will experience me as a keen observer, helping you to explore and identify patterns in your life and picking up on feelings and emotions that might be hard for you to make contact with. I make use of my creativity and yours to help you see things in a new light and to notice ways of being and coping that aren’t working anymore. I am known for my innate curiosity, intellectual agility and emotional intelligence.

Rather than bore you with my accomplishments, I hope to convey the essence of who I am & why I love what I do, in hopes of making your search a little less meh. I am a therapist who puts a quirky spin on professionalism and shows up to sessions as themselves. I believe therapy should be a real conversation, sprinkled with humor, challenges where needed, and a touch of psychoeducation. If you want a therapist that shows up authentically to help understand the "why's", & gives alternative and realistic skills/tools for everyday stressors, I'm your girl.

Welcome! I believe that one of the essential ingredients of change and transformative psychotherapy is the relationship between the individual and the therapist. Feeling understood and comfortable only helps reduce one's symptoms, encouraging self-acceptance, but also leads toward deeper work which promotes lasting change and a deeper experience of one's whole self.

Therapy can be a difficult step for individuals to take in their lives. People may seek therapy in order to find answers to issues they have had for many years. Therapy is also much more than that. Therapy is a collaboration between the client and the therapist, in order to gain insight and have the necessary tools to continue to succeed in their everyday lives. My goal is to create an environment in which you feel comfortable working on yourself. Being as authentic as I can be during sessions. Providing a supportive and safe space where you can express yourself freely and discuss your issues without fear of judgment.

Therapy is a place to slow down, feel our feelings, and get to know ourselves more deeply. Some of my clients use therapy to tackle a specific problem, others simply need a supportive space in which to process each week. Having worked in the mental health field for 10+ years, I've helped people address a wide range of concerns, and especially enjoy working on relationships/dating issues, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. In addition to talk therapy, I also have advanced training in EMDR and complex trauma. As a former touring musician, I am uniquely familiar with the mental health challenges faced by artists and creators.

Good mental health is hard to achieve in isolation. I commend you for reaching out to share your troubles. I offer you a safe place to feel. Trusting is especially hard if you've endured more than most. Learning how to deal with what's inside is confusing if nobody taught you as a kid how to make sense of it all. Therapy is a unique process where as you dare to let a safe person experience the hurt alongside you, you'll feel less alone,"weird" and overwhelme of what's happening. When we feel less alone, we'll have courage to try what it's like to practice responses that won’t get us deeper into depression, shame and anxiety.

Extensive research shows the client-therapist relationship is the most essential part of therapy. I encourage you to find the right fit. Topics I have helped clients successfully work through: complex trauma, helping change insecure attachment styles, boundary identification & implementation with loved ones, couples experiencing infidelity, individuals who have engaged in extra marital affairs, dysfunctional communication, repetitive arguments on the same topic, kinks or differences in sexual interests (ex. BDSM, non-monogamy, cuckolding, etc.), and severe anxiety/depression.
