She earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Art Therapy from Adler University in (August 2009) and trained at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates where she worked in collaboration with Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group Pediatrics, and Adult Internal Medicine in Chicago, IL.

Allyson is a Licensed Clinical Social worker and a Registered Dual Diagnosis Professional with over 14 years of experience. As a graduate of University of Illinois specializing in mental health her work experience includes hospital and outpatient settings. Allyson is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.
