Through my decades of experience I have seen that we all struggle with feelings of not being "Good Enough" in some way. Whether that is smart enough, lovable enough, or many other not enoughs. We form these beliefs during our lives and many things trigger that NOT GOOD ENOUGH feeling. We may react emotionally when the "not good enough" feeling is triggered. EMDR & Mindfulness are great tools to help calm down our emotions so we have better control of them. My client's say I have an easy going and personable style. I'm Pamela Nicole Dukes, I obtained my master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in Clinical Mental Health from Governors State University. I enjoy working with individuals in all age groups, my passion includes working with women issues and adults.

My passion in life is to help others work through difficulty, finding strength and resources they never knew they possessed. As a therapist, I believe each individual is the expert in their lives and counseling helps to find the answers to problems from within through discussions, interventions, guidance, and support. I have over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitalizations, outpatient therapy, and private practice. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, young adults, and older adults. I also have experience working with couples and families.

The therapeutic bond is a sacred alliance between both therapist and client. I am honored to share this space and genuinely believe in the individual's innate ability to foster their own growth and healing. My background is primarily in the residential setting working with adults and geriatrics affected by dementia, severe mental illness, and comorbid disease & disorders. I currently work with individuals of all ages to assist in their unique processes of overcoming hardship and obtaining fulfillment in their lives.

My life boils down to service and I want to be of service to you. I have worked off and on as a paramedic for over 15 years, I was a cop for about 3 years, and I was in the Army for just over 8 years. I have had a number of struggles throughout my life and I was blessed with being introduced to someone who helped me. I also have a passion for sports and sports psychology.

She has been caring for clients since 2002 and holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Dr. Fazio also provides parenting support and offers various groups for children and adolescents that focus on social skills and self-esteem.
