You may feel like you’re looking for a unicorn when finding the right clinician for you. Whether you are looking for someone who is well-versed in working with those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or have experienced trauma - my hope is that you find a supportive space to grow and heal. I enjoy helping clients work towards goals of self-acceptance, resilience, and empowerment. I hope to offer understanding and validation of your experiences in life as you work towards a better understanding of yourself in the world and of the world around you.

Taking that first step and acknowledging we can't always resolve our difficulties on our own is monumental. In turn, choosing just the right psychologist with whom you can develop a trusting relationship and work collaboratively to meet your individual needs is of utmost importance.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010. Prior to this I worked at Children's Services, a domestic violence shelter, child advocacy center, etc. I have dealt with abuse/ sex abuse, neglect, hurt, loss, etc. I worked in both the social service side and juvenile delinquent side with kids/ teens ages 0-19 mostly, and their parents, relatives, foster families, etc. I have dealt a lot with kids in the educational system and know the resources to link them to if needed. I believe that one of the most important needs is trusting the counselor. The age group I am mainly seeing in my practice at this time is 12 and up.

Dr. Stacy Jagger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor with her Doctorate in Ministry. But she’s not just a book-trained therapist, as her story attests. She is a speaker, author, transformational coach, mentor, visionary. She’s the founder of Music City Family Therapy and the inventor of the Mountain Method, her proprietary treatment protocol for working with the whole family when the primary concern is their children’s well-being. Stacy also regularly appears on Nashville’s WSMV and WKRN television stations.

Do you feel haunted by things in your past that keep interfering with you here in the present? Are there issues that you have emotional reactions to that don't make sense? Bad relationships and traumatic events are difficult to process and resolve. They can linger and affect your abilities in many ways. Depression, anxiety, low self esteem, poor relationships, poor communication, and other coping problems can be a result.

I decided to become a therapist because of my own struggles with mental health issues especially as an adolescent and young adult. I want to take these awful experiences and use them as motivation to help others. If you are an over thinker, I believe I can help. I work with engineers, executives, health care professionals, teachers, and pretty much any person who is in a profession that tends to reward perfectionism and over analysis.

There was a time that I was so desperate to make my own marriage work that I went back to school to become a Marriage & Family Therapist. I, then, spent the next decade researching human connection. Not only did this research save my own marriage, I have now helped thousands of couples develop a connection that they didn't think was possible.

Pain is a powerful motivator for change. Being human means struggling with brokenness and pain. Being human also means we have the choice and ability to work toward healing and toward a more abundant life. When the suffering outweighs the joy of living, it would be my privilege to offer you the tools and guidance needed for healing.I am able to provide this thru personal experience and professional training. I am also a certified yoga instructor and offer individual yoga and meditation (without mysticism) to compliment the therapeutic process.

My passion is working with adult women, so much so it’s all I see in my practice! That’s right only women, 18 years and older. The reason I’m so passionate about working with adult women is because of the issues they face and the unique ways those issues look in a woman’s life. I bring over 10 years’ experience working directly with women and their emotional difficulties including trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relational issues and codependency, work/life balance, body image, and more.

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are suffering from the effects of trauma and attachment wounds.
I love joining with families and children who are facing behavioral challenges and helping them to grieve, problem-solve, and begin enjoying each other again.
My experience as an in-home therapist and clinical supervisor for children who are at risk of being removed from their home has given me a wealth of experience and tools to share with families and I am willing to coach parents and children in the home when needed.
