As you open your eyes to another day, the tightness in your chest is still there. The hum of nervousness has begun in your belly and you're not even sure what you're really worried about. Dread fills your mind as you realize today is going to be one of those anxious days. You keep telling yourself to stop, relax and chill-out. It still doesn’t get better. You try to pause and see all you have going for yourself, thinking about the people who love you. Every day you give full effort to do what’s right, put your friends and family first. None of it works. None of it stops the worry. It feels as if the anxiety now has full control.

Being able to talk openly and honestly about feelings is the foundation of therapy. A therapist is a supportive person who can listen to you and give you honest feedback in an emotionally safe space. Therapy is about getting a better understanding of yourself, your behavior, feelings, motivations, and patterns. When you come to therapy, I want you to feel comfortable coming in just as you are.

I am a seasoned therapist with over 10 years of experience in practice. I work with couples, individuals and families who are looking to make positive changes in their lives. I bring a clear perspective to navigate difficult situations and offer tools to work through them effectively. The work that I focus on is finding the places of distress and figuring out how to remove barriers and add supports.

It’s a privilege to be invited into your life. Realizing it takes courage to reach out and schedule a first appointment, I'm committed to creating a soft place for you to land each time we meet, a place where you feel seen through a lens of non-judgment and compassion, a place where hope lives. And if life has gotten too messy for you to believe any longer, then let me hold hope for you until you can.
