My career started many years ago in Mexico. I'm a bilingual therapist and I studied Psychology were at the same time I earned a Specialty in Human Development and Psychotherapy for Adolescents. I have worked with many families, adults and kids since I was in Mexico but once a moved here to Florida I completed my Masters in Mental Health and Family Therapy. After completing my education at Wurzweiler School of Social Work in NYC, I worked at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. There, I managed social work issues for a large ICU population. I became comfortable with patient and family concerns . This included the response to severe trauma, illness, conflict and loss. It led me to my most recent role in supporting and educating school age children with psycho-social issues. These include children with anxiety, family conflicts, and social concerns.
