My name is Dr. Zereana Jess-Huff and I am clinical psychotherapist practicing in both TX and FL. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and treat a variety of mental health disorders. I specialize in adult ADHD, complex PTSD, adolescent care, and LGBTQIA (highly experienced in transgendered care). I have found that patients with the best outcomes are those individuals who receive a combination of psychoeducational and processing therapy. It is important that you are constantly learning new skills and incorporating them into your daily life.

As a mental health counselor for almost a decade, I have helped countless individuals, families and couples dealing with a wide range of issues from depression, to trust issues and infidelity, to anxiety and stress. But the truth is when you think about it, you know there is something wrong, you can't seem to identify what it is- but you know you have slowly changed and now you do not recognize yourself. You know you have endured so much and just can't deal anymore - but the problem is if you are keeping to yourself/isolating inorder to protect yourself from more pain, are you really protecting yourself or just isolating yourself and keeping yourself from living your life.

I’ve always had a passion for problem solving, helping others sort through their challenges and helping create a balance they struggled to find on their own. As a child I’ve witnessed substance abuse and domestic violence within my family and community. Which caused me to see and understand not only trauma but other impacts that have caused mental health conditions through the eyes of a child and an adult. My goal is to meet you where you are and together mend those shattered pieces one step at a time through gaining insight, healing, happiness, and peace.

I have had extensive training and experience in the practice of mental health treatment and trauma recovery with children, Families and Adults since 2016. I tailor evidence-based treatment approaches to fit each individual meeting their goals, manage life stressors and reducing trauma symptoms.
