Hi there! My name is Lisa Southerland and I am a licensed professional counselor and certified professional counselor supervisor. I approach counseling from an integrated perspective using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) along with looking at attachment relationships and the impact of trauma on the overall well-being of a person. It is not my goal to simply "fix the problem" but to work with clients to build social connections, empowerment, and increase coping skills for long-term success and well-being.

As a therapist, I'm eager to walk alongside highly motivated individuals and couples in their journey towards success. For some, success means gaining an improved sense of self-esteem and value. Others may be looking to successfully navigate a challenging season of life. Over the last 22 years, it has been a joy to supportively listen to men, women and adolescents, offer meaningful insight, and enjoy the satisfaction of my clients meeting their goals for therapy. It would be my joy to help you in this way as well.

Change can be scary and messy, but it can also be greatly rewarding. Jasmine Harden is a native of Atlanta, Ga. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Clark Atlanta University before pursuing her Masters In Community Counseling with Argosy University Atlanta. She has over 13 years experience of Mental Health Services, navigating the child welfare system, and prevention services throughout the state of GA and Tennessee in psychiatric and outpatient services.

Have you been struggling with being overwhelmed with childhood trauma, or narcissistic abuse from a partner or family member? I am an EMDR therapist who has helped clients heal from their wounds of abuse. I have also helped clients ease the pain by lessening the stress on the body from Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia. EMDR does not heal the medical conditions but can help reduce the pain.

My ideal client is ready for change and the process that comes along with it. They may not know their growing edges yet, but they know there is something they would like to change and desire help to get there. My ideal client is motivated, insightful, and open to the therapeutic process. I aim to serve clients who have experienced trauma and are struggling with the lasting effects. I also enjoy working with relational difficulties, identity issues, and overwhelming life changes. Further, I am passionate about serving marginalized communities and offering the support our society often fails to give.

Vanessa is a License Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor, (NCC), and Master Addiction Counselor, certified by the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals. Vanessa Stapleton has spent over ten years in the counseling field serving a diverse population including individuals, couples, and families to assist them in their journey toward hope, healing, and empowerment.

I have been helping individuals and couples address anxiety, ADHD, depression, infidelity, and trauma for nearly 8 years. When you're in the thick of it and trying to untangle your emotions and thoughts while trying to balance your day to day responsibilities it can be utterly exhausting. In our work together I can help you gain insight into your problems, create a plan on how to tackle the issue for yourself or the relationship, and starting making the necessary changes to improve your wellbeing. I offer evening appointments in order to reduce the need to find time out of your busy schedule during the day.

I worked in youth ministry as a young adult, and then in chaplaincy and pastoral ministry before seeking additional training as a psychotherapist focusing on the mitigation of human suffering, and enriching family relationships and spiritual growth. I have integrated the body in psychological and spiritual healing, using practices that help us deepen our embodied awareness and enjoyment. I majored in history at the University of Georgia, and in pastoral ministry (M.Div.) at Candler School of Theology in Emory University, and then in family studies at the University of Georgia (M.S.).

My goal as your therapist is to provide you with practical solutions and tools that you can learn to practice in your daily life outside of therapy. My approach with you as my client will be to start with where you are, while assisting you in identifying healthy solutions to your problems. It is my belief that most people have the ability to grow and build on their strengths, however at times become stuck. I view therapy as a collaborative process. I work along with you to grow and make positive changes that can result in a more fulfilling life.

I utilize a variety of theoretical approaches and tailor therapy to what will uniquely work for you.

Jonita is LGBTQIA+ affirming, utilizes emotional intelligence when working with clients and specializes in wholistic multidisciplinary approaches to achieve mental health and overall wellness. Jonita's favorite therapy modalities are experiential therapy, mindfulness based practices. She completed her undergraduate degree in Human Services from Saint Leo University and earned her Masters of Social Work with a focus on mental health and wellness from Clark Atlanta University. Jonita is also a human services board certified practioner, who wholeheartedly believes that mental health practice is what she is purposed and meant to do.
