I work primarily with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting issues, family relationships, and anger management. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to empower my clients to change the way they view themselves and to focus on being more accepting of who they are and desire to be. I was struggling to cope with a disability, depression, and anger between the ages 16 to 23. I was in a car accident in 1999 that severely damaged my spinal cord and caused me to rely on the use of a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Building a relationship with God helped me to overcome my disability, depression and anger. It also gave me what I needed to live through my daily struggles. The spiritual exercises that have helped me during my process were prayer, meditation, reading scriptures, faith building, forgiveness, gratitude, and discussing my concerns with Christian counselors.

I then moved to Atlanta where she worked for about 16 years in public and private mental health. I am able to provide individual, family, couples and sexual abuse counseling.
