Need help figuring out why your relationship just keeps doing the same thing over and over? Do you feel like no one is actually hearing what you? Is it hard to get past something that happened a while back? We often keep repeating things because we think if we just do it again or do differently we'll finally unlock the barrier that's held us back. My people come to see me after trying something over and over and they feel defeated. Often, the secret is a small tweak from a slightly different angle that helps with trauma, anxiety, depression, communication, and/or relationships.

Do you find life overwhelming at times and afraid of the next “storm” coming? Do you sometimes wake up wishing the day was already over? Do you question if life will ever get any better than this? Do you feel misunderstood, unheard, or disconnected from other important people in your life? Life doesn’t have to be this difficult. And you shouldn’t have to walk this journey alone. Populations I primarily serve include both adolescents (ages 11+) and adults. I also identify as an LGBTQIA ally.

I enjoy working with adults and teens 15 years and older. My previous experience involves working with several populations in the community, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and clients with substance use diagnoses (including those with co-occurring mental health diagnoses). As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to create a safe space where everyone I see feels heard, seen, and accepted in order to facilitate real change through a collaborative approach.

That idea you have in your head about what therapy is and that picture of what a therapist is supposed to be-yeah THAT one-it isn’t like that here. If you've tried therapy before and HATED it, if you're ready to make moves in your life, ready to get real and own your shit, or if you need a safe space to dump with a REAL person that doesn’t give a shit what it is you did or think you did, let me introduce myself. I prefer to see adults but I will make exceptions for adolescents age 16 and over, provided they pass the vibe check. We do real talk here and nothing less-unadulterated authenticity.

This quote is a great way to describe who I am as a person and my style of therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and a EMDR Trained Clinician. I have worked in several different settings and levels of care within the mental health field. I enjoy being myself to be able to connect with my patients on a real level. I am the same person in session as I am in real life. I am very down to earth, calm, positive, and empathetic.
