Using empathy, compassion, humor, and an objective perspective, I collaborate with clients to develop an effective, pragmatic approach to their current life challenges, as well as addressing long-standing personal concerns. My goal is to assist clients with accessing their own unique strengths and personal resources to create a realistic, attainable plan to reduce their own suffering.

With over 20 years of experience in the Social Service field, I pride myself on my dedication to the safety, well-being, and stabilization of the children, adults, and families that I work with. My creativity allows me to utilize a series of treatment modalities to assist in successfully empowering my clients while meeting their psychological needs. I am comfortable with a wide range of mental health challenges. A few modalities that I specialize in are Psycho-Educational, Play, Sand Tray, Accelerated Resolution, Solution Focused, Internal Family Systems, and brain-spotting.

Each individual and situation is unique. I believe that it is important to focus on the whole person to help aide in discovery of inner strengths and ways to best help oneself. I utilize an eclectic, person-centered approach, use creative outlets and a variety of techniques in my practice while offering a positive and supportive environment for personal growth and development.

At times young people cannot get the most out of the experiences life has to offer. This could be a result of limited knowledge, skills, or underlying issues. I am a clinical child psychologist and my aim is to help children, adolescents, and their families, equipping youth with skills to put them on a positive path before adulthood. I use evidence-based tools that help youth and their families overcome challenges that keep them from moving forward in life. In addition to outpatient therapy, I offer psychological testing and evaluations for youth, helping to identify problem areas and unique needs and providing tailored recommendations.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorders (OCD, hair pulling, skin picking, etc.), Tics/Tourette's, Anxiety, Depression, and trauma/PTSD. The core of my approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also treat trauma in adults with Written Exposure Therapy (a brief, structured treatment). I'm glad to speak with you for a free brief consultation on the phone (initial 90 min. session fee is $142 and an hour session is $125). I see ALL ages for tics/Tourette's and BFRBs (hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting, etc.). For all other treatment I see clients age 18 and older.

As an online counselor, I work with clients with busy schedules, or folks who prefer engaging in therapy from home. Many of my clients feel like they don't fully belong.
