Life can be chaotic, challenging, and complex. Regardless of whether you're a teen, parent, or living the adult-ish life, we all find more of ourselves when we have meaningful connections and flourish best when we feel safe. My specialty lies in fostering a safe space—both physically and emotionally—for healing within ourselves and our relationships if need be. I work with teens and adults who are having a hard time navigating life's stressors, navigating diagnoses such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc. I currently provide virtual therapy in Virginia! to book me, head here- www.calendly.com/rootstoresultsrva/intake

When individuals, couples, or families reach out to get help in order to face life's challenges, or to find meaning in their lives--I know that the healing journey has begun. I respect and admire the courage that it takes to make that first call and to admit to another human being that one is hurting and needs help. Or, maybe, to admit that one just needs to get another perspective on a difficult problem. As a therapist, I am committed to all who embark on the therapeutic journey of healing.

Hi there! I'm super excited to have the opportunity to learn more about you. While clients of diverse backgrounds and life experiences tend to respond well to the authenticity and warmth I bring to the counseling space, I have special interests in working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, untangling the impacts of relational trauma, and young adults entering into the adult world. Clients who seek out my support are often looking to get to know themselves with greater depth while healing through their life experiences, including trauma and relational dynamics. My goal is to act as a partner in navigating the waves of life.

My clients may feel that they have been unable to comfortably make decisions in their lives or have made poor decisions. They may not have been able to identify or achieve their goals, leaving them feel unfulfilled. Often, they want to initiate change but have uncertainty about their ability to do so or the steps in that process. They seek to establish and achieve goals that will bring fulfillment, enjoyment, material comfort and success in their lives. My clients seek lives in which they are self-confident and motivated. Through the coaching relationship, they determined what was important to them, then pursued and achieved it.

Have you struggled to be heard? Or to feel safe enough to use your voice? I try to provide empathetic and reflective listening as well as a kind and gentle directness to help you finally be heard. I like to help clients discover things about themselves and their own strengths as well as finding or building their own unique support system. I support clients in a way that they may try some new things to see what works for them.
