Most individuals come to me when new or stressful life circumstances have overwhelmed their traditional coping strategies. We work together to understand the circumstances that they are facing, the distress that they are experiencing, and explore strategies for reducing their distress and enhancing their well-being. Together we form an understanding partnership that enables them to face the world with more effective coping strategies and improved relationship skills. My theoretical approaches include emotion-focused and psychodynamic therapy. My clients describe me as empathetic, effective and collaborative.

I have been a psychotherapist for over 25 years working with diverse adolescent and adult clients on an individual basis. Brandon’s clinical experiences are extensive & include work as a psychiatric technician helping youth survivors of sexual trauma, an event coordinator, vocational trainer, & life skills coordinator for the Latin American Youth Center, as well as social worker & program manager for a semi-independent living program in PG County, Maryland. He concentrated his education in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Motivational Interviewing (MI), which he integrates in therapy.

Natalie has extensive experience working with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds from various treatment settings, including inpatient residential and outpatient mental healthcare. She works with adults and adolescents (ages 14 and up) and specializes in issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions, substance use, relationship issues, and life transitions.

With all of the advancements of our world, we have to also acknowledge the advancement in the complexity of the human experience. In my practice, I rely on my elite training and lived experiences as a Black woman to support those seeking purpose, relief, understanding, encouragement, and validation in their lives. Hello and welcome! I’m Kenneth (Ken) Kim, a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience. During my time working with adolescents, I witnessed firsthand how mental health impacts everyone, shaping a productive and fulfilling life. I hold a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Development (2012) and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Mental Health (2019) from George Mason University. Additionally, I earned a Master’s of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University (2017).
