I have been a licensed psychologist for more than 25 years, and am certified in hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. I have expertise in anxiety disorders, depression, trauma related disorders, and treatment of chronic pain. I utilize an active, solution oriented approach to therapy, which can include behavioral management, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and hypnosis.

The teenage years can be stressful especially in light of the social media and peer pressure. The pandemic is complicating socialization and stunting personal development. I am here to support adolescents and their families through this difficult stage of development, especially during the uncertain times that COVID brought. I have had a long career in the treatment of substance use disorders, marital counseling, adolescents with self harm behaviors and adults presenting with depression and anxiety. I am bilingual (Spanish) and have specialized in harm reduction techniques, motivational interviewing skills, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
