Sometimes, it isn’t what happens to us that causes us to suffer, it’s what we say to ourselves about what happens. I work to empower people to address their issues and overcome personal obstacles. I don’t believe in focusing on labels and diagnosis. I believe that people sometimes struggle with different behaviors, emotions and thoughts. My job is to help you address, modify, explore, change or just understand those behaviors, emotions and thoughts so that you can maximize your potential and be the best you that you can be!

I’m Mehar, an Indian immigrant therapist who grew up across India. My own life journey helps me understand the struggles of immigration, feeling out of place, and navigating cultural integration. In our sessions, we’ll explore your relationship with yourself, others, and society. As your therapeutic guide, I will help you identify areas for positive change, addressing stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, and hopelessness. Our work will encourage slowing down with the body, connecting with your heart, and leaning into your vulnerable truths.

Also the every day type of stress, including problems handling school, work, family, or what life throws at us in general. I use my Circle of Life Wellness Coaching to help people get unstuck and move forward with helpful change. Are you ready to make some positive changes in your life?!

To accept life's major changes with grace and dignity can be excruciatingly difficult. And yet, it is a challenge to welcome because when approached with careful consideration, it invites self-definition and intentional living. Are psychic wounds or limiting self-beliefs holding you back? What matters most to you? The Chinese sage, Lao Tsu, said, "If you don't change direction, you will end up where you are heading." Are you happy with your direction? If not, come see me. I listen carefully and help you find your way. I am an active, fully-engaged therapist.

I specialize in Autism, ADHD, SM, PDA, RSD, 2E, ARFID, FASD, PANDAS, LGBTQ+, psychosis, interoception, adoption, veterans, and addiction.
If you’ve found me, you know how difficult it can be to seek answers in the areas of understanding the differences in communication, ways of learning, and social preferences for both neurodiverse children and their parents. You are most likely exhausted and eager to learn more about science-based resources to help your child reach success, as you haven’t been afforded effective parent management techniques or learned about the neurobiology of attachment. Developing co-regulation techniques is essential for calming the nervous system. These techniques guide families and improve family function.
