If I can be that person for each client, I meet than I did my due diligence as a therapist to show unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, and listening empathetically. As a stroke survivor, I understand the unique challenges that come with healing. What I know to be true is that consistency with patience will lead to resilience. The foundation of my work is based on empathy and open communication. For over 15 years, I've worked closely with families in crisis and in need of immediate intervention. I specialize in assisting children, adolescents, and adults with Anxiety, Depression, Selective Mutism, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Autism. Additionally, I also have experience in assisting victims of violence.

I am a licensed professional counselor, because I believe everyone has the ability to make a change and create a set of coping strategies to overcome life's many challenges. Acceptance, encouragement, and solution integration are the main objectives of my sessions. During my years of experience in practice, my areas of specialization include working with individuals and families struggling with Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Gender Identity, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I am a licensed psychotherapist with 18 years of clinical experience working in the mental health and addiction field. I have worked with a wide variety of populations. I have helped individuals overcome anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, life stressors, trauma, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Treatment modalities are determined by the needs of the individual. I provide a warm, nonjudgemental approach and work together with my clients to accomplish success.
