Couples and Relationship Counseling. ON-LINE VIDEO COUNSELING AVAILABLE. All of us enter marriage or a committed relationship with a dream of spending a whole life together. Many couples find themselves struggling at some point- experiencing dissatisfaction and emotional pain. Some want to work it out but don't know how. Others have reached the point where both partners want to end the marriage/relationship. Still others are ambivalent, where one spouse is “leaning in” and the other “leaning out.” Some couples generally do well together but long to deepen their connection.

I help families and couples recover from generational and childhood trauma. My clients are cycle-breakers who are committed to their growth and looking for support in their journey toward healing. In my practice, I support youth in healing from childhood trauma and rebuilding trust with their caregivers. I guide caregivers in developing their parenting skills and breaking unhelpful generational cycles. I work with romantic partners to improve their communication and intimacy in their relationship.

Do parts of you feel worry, restlessness, or overwhelm? Do you have a critical voice that's really harsh? Have you noticed yourself feeling hopeless, stuck, only to shut down, get lost in distraction, spend money, or reach for comfort through something familiar and unhealthy? My clients learn how to separate from the parts of them that take over, understand their intended function, allow their true self to take the lead, and access curiosity, calm, connectedness, and clarity. While proficient in various forms of talk therapy which I integrate into session, I’ve found specialization/focus on IFS therapy most helpful for my clients.
