I'm a licensed mental health counselor, LMHC, with over twenty years of experience working with a variety of populations. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them overcome a range of psychological as well as behavioral and emotional concerns. I work with clients ranging in age from adolescence through adulthood. Therapists typically describe themselves by listing the disorders they treat, such as depression, anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Though I have significant experience with all of these issues, I view many symptoms as important expressions of an internal struggle that may have begun long before clients seek therapy. These symptoms often and understandably create misery, but I believe that approaching them with curiosity may ultimately provide a path to reducing or even eliminating them.

I am a firm believer in the transformative power of therapy. So often, I encounter individuals who just feel "stuck" in their lives. Some of them have felt this way for years before seeking help!
