First, thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I want to start by telling you a bit about my background and experience. I work at Anchor Counseling Center, a family-owned practice that provides outpatient counseling services to a diverse population. I have worked in the mental health field over 20 years. My approach centers around supportive therapy in which clients can reach a comfort level by building rapport and increasing trust.

I have 16 years experience working in a variety of settings including hospital, residential, urgent care, and office. I have extensive experience working with children and adults suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, grief/loss, sexual abuse/trauma, ADHD, autism and LGBTQ+ issues. In addition to individual work, I enjoy working with couples and families. My therapeutic approach focuses on Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Humanistic/Client-Centered Therapy.

Natalie is a highly skilled eating disorder specialist who also supports individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, and challenging life transitions. Through mindfulness and body-centered awareness, she empowers clients to vulnerably connect to and experience deep emotions while recognizing habitual patterns preventing authentic selves from emerging. Natalie provides a safe and nurturing environment that allows new pathways to evolve, ultimately leading to the manifestation of the life changes people desire.

From these experiences has developed a style of therapy which is goal oriented, practical, and direct. I have experience working with children, adults, and families. I have extensive history in working with the families of individuals with disabilities.

I truly feel that anyone can benefit from therapeutic training and guidance. Personally, I have always seen therapy to be more of a intense joint partnership focused on a client's personal achievement, exploration of their untapped potential and opportunities and utilizing their strengths to balance them out. Therapy should be to the mind what diet and exercise is to the body. Solid, result-focused training that builds upon an individual's strengths to provide them with the tools necessary to not only face the challenges of their life, but also to explore the rich landscape they have WITHIN.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with a diverse background working with children, adolescents, and families. The foundation of therapy is building a strong therapeutic relationship, which from my experience is essential when working with youth. I have an eclectic approach utilizing the treatment which best fits each person and family.

David Rajabiun is a Boston College trained Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He has been working in the mental health and substance abuse field since 1990. He has worked in both the hospital and outpatient settings over the course of his career. He brings a passion to problem solve with his patients in order to alleviate symptoms that are negatively impacting their lives. He has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults, offering individual, family and couples counseling. His practice is affiliated with Lincoln Psychiatric Services, providing medication evaluations, if necessary.

I am a licensed mental health counselor providing therapeutic services at Anchor Counseling Center. I graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge MA with a Masters in Counseling and Psychology. As a counselor I take a holistic approach to assist in healing the whole person...mind, body, and spirit. This integrative approach considers life experiences and how the experiences contribute to distress resulting in anxiety, depression, limiting beliefs, negative self talk, self judgement, and lack of self compassion. I am compassionate, nonjudgemental, and exude positive energy. I consider rapport developing an integral part of therapy to establish a therapeutic relationship based on trust and comfort.

Denise is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at the Lincoln location of Anchor Counseling Center, Inc. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Counseling with concentrations in Child and Family Interventions as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapies from Assumption College in Worcester, MA. She has 10+ years of experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families ranging from outpatient to residential in home and office-based settings.

I have been helping people for over 25 years in dealing with depression, anxiety, chronic PTSD and family issues in a comprehensive manner working with their PCP, psychiatrist and other community agencies. I hold a BSW from Rhode Island College and an MSW from Florida State University. I am empathic, open-minded and non-judgmental. My goal is to help you achieve your goals.

I pride myself on being very empathetic and able to meet people where they are at.
