I started an online mental health practice called Ray of Light Wellness in 2017. The practice has expanded into a group practice. I am excited to announce that Ray of Light Wellness LLC will finally be able to take new clients again with the help of more clinicians assisting me! My mission has been to provide effective, accessible, and affordable services. I am licensed in MA, RI, and CT. The practice currently meet with adult clients 18 & over. As a therapist I am currently booked but therapists working with me are open to new clients. Feel free to email me and I will match you with a therapist who can work with you on your goals.

I feel very strongly about teaching my clients more about mental health and how to navigate mental health needs. I believe psychoeducation is an important part of helping clients feel confident and in control over their abilities to heal. I am knowledgable in variety of cognitive strategies as well as holistic and somatic approaches. In addition, I am a skilled yoga instructor that can incorporate breath work and aspects of yoga into our sessions. My treatment approach is different for each client.

If the answer is yes we should talk. 26 years experience with treating addiction/mental health issues has allowed me to list my credentials as an addiction/mental health specialist. I have taught classes on Addiction Counseling for the Trudy Institute of Addiction and worked with families with substance abuse dependence over 11 years. I have a masters degree and am a independent licensed clinical social worker dealing with codependency, domestic violence, anger management, women issues and relationship issues.

I have worked in psychiatric hospital settings and health centers leading clinical treatment groups as well as individual sessions with adult clients. At Optimal Health, we believe that physical and mental health are connected and that lifestyle affects both.
