Alison specializes in PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, all types of abuse, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

Joanie Barclay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who brings a diversity of professional acumen from over 25 years working with adults, military families, veterans to build light, peace, and hope within their lives. Her person-centered and strengths-based approaches to healing and wellness are enhanced with her ministerial background. Joanie earned two Master's degrees in Clinical Social Work and Pastoral Ministry from Boston College, along with a post-graduate certification in Spiritual Direction.

Hello and welcome! I have spent years working alongside individuals impacted by complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and issues arising in relationships. We are all human in this world- with our lived experiences, range of emotions, and our best efforts to cope with it all. Sometimes our best attempts to cope can end up holding us back or hurting us in the long run. The good news is that we are amazing and adaptive beings. What was learned as a way to stay safe in the world can be considered and evaluated. In a supportive and trusting environment, we can expand our awareness and make informed choices for ourselves in the present.

I exclusively devote my practice to the Deaf community, focusing on identifying and responding to the unique needs of Deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, and late-deafened individuals; members of the cochlear implant community; and their families.

Hello. I’m an independently licensed Psychotherapist who holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and a Master's degree from Boston College. I have extensive experience working with adults, couples and adolescents, who may be experiencing a loss of joy in their life due to depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. I use several therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, and I provide a calming and nurturing environment to ensure that you are comfortable, and feel supported. I have had the opportunity to practice in both rural and urban settings doing both community and agency work. Initially, I began working in the field of addiction and trauma. I have also worked with clients in their journey relating to intimate partner violence, mood disorders, anxiety management, and personality disorders. I am a firm believer in finding ways to use community as a source of healing and support, through advocacy, connection, and support.
