Aloha, here at Akua Family Therapy our specialty is relationship therapy. We serve couples and individuals who are looking to improve their relationships, and process relationship distress. Couples who are looking to strengthen communication, conflict management and/or increase intimacy should give us a call. If you would like to process your relationship distress individually, we help men and woman work through relationship struggles by helping you build insight into your relationship dynamics and support you toward improved overall health and functioning. We also provide Anger Assessments and Parenting Psycho-education Support.

Aaron Collins supervises pre-licensed professionals and interns. Aaron sees couples and individuals looking to lower distress, process trauma and improve relationships. For trauma and stabilization ask about the use of EMDR to help you process and desensitize. Aaron is born and raised on the big island and relates well with the local culture and population.

If you are looking for a family therapist or a therapist for your child/teens, Akua Family Therapy is accepting minors with HMSA insurance only and who are willing to work with Kristi Efford or Ellie Garrison. Aaron Collins is supervising child and family therapy provided by Ellie and Kristi.
