Dr. Adrian Davis is a national board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. She has a strong belief in holistic care utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including psychotropic medications, TMS therapy, and evidence-based alternative treatments such as nutritional supplementation as well as lifestyle/diet modifications. She specializes in Depression, Anxiety, ADHD/ADD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, Trauma and PTSD.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am highly patient-centered. Karim Saleh is a graduate from Ain Shams University - Faculty of Medicine and completed his medical residency at Saint Louis University. He's been practicing psychiatry in Washington since 2010 and helping adults with a wide range of conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia and co-occurring disorders. Karim believes in an evidence-based treatment philosophy. In his spare time, he enjoys sports and travel.

Telepsychiatry is proven to be a very effective means of treating mental health issues. All patients are treated with respect and dignity via of HIPAA-compliant televideo appointments. Most follow-up appointments last 20 to 30 minutes and offer you the convenience of a visit from the privacy of your own home or wherever you have a WiFi or cellular connection. No waiting in crowded lobbies or driving to appointments. Medications are sent electronically to your pharmacy and are ready within a short period of time. I offer convenient appointment times. I do not provide therapy or counseling sessions; I do medication management only.

Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2017 however, I have worked in mental health for more than ten years. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric consult service and forensic setting. My practice goal is to provide excellent psychiatric care to my clients via telehealth. I am most interested in providing holistic care not simply focusing on an illness. I try to provide a warm and receptive environment and believe in working together to provide a viable plan to achieve optimal mental health.

Our minds are a complex interrelation between our brain, other somatic systems, our social context, and much else about our environment. Improving mental health calls for a creative and adaptive approach that takes all these factors into account. Treatment works by building together a safe environment so that you can investigate the way your life experiences have led to certain ways of being in regards to yourself, relationships, and our sociocultural environment. Once you recognize these patterns, you can move forward with agency in order to live life in accordance with your desires, values, and sense of an authentic self.

CURRENTLY NOT TAKING PATIENTS. I take a cognizant approach of relating mind, body (biology), spirituality and its interface with ones lived experiences to arrive at some semblance of wellness. My theoretical framework is guided by evidence based treatment practices, research and human development. A thorough evaluation will help to formulate a treatment plan which could include medication alone, psychotherapy or a combination. I work alongside other therapists if one is already involved.

Mental health should not be a taboo subject or a rushed intervention. Each person responds differently to life events. There should be no shame or stigma in sharing feelings and looking for help. I am here to help you find your balance and the correct treatment to regain yourself and succeed in life.
