​ I am a highly motivated board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. I have over 10 years of nursing experience. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2011. In 2017 I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing (APRN) degree from Clayton State University and my Post Masters Psychiatric Mental Health Degree in July 2021 from Valdosta State University.

It is my intention to learn your unique story and collaborate with you on a solution-focused treatment plan incorporating the specific goals you have in mind. Currently, I am working with adults that have depressive, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma related disorders; and are devoted to their own healing and well-being. I offer iRest, an evidence-based 10-step protocol for PTSD the VA and DOD endorse. The path to healing is multimodal, balanced, & necessitates learning to integrate through acceptance, curiosity & openness. I also specialize in ketamine assisted psychotherapy, which has been used for treatment resistant depression and PTSD

Im here to assist anyone with a desire to change their life. This could be someone in the throes of addiction, someone being inadequately treated for their depression, or someone ashamed of a lingering severe mental illness. Many clients come to me when they have no where else to turn. Maybe they have been given up on by others or maybe they feel their current treatment provider isn't hearing or understanding their concerns. I am here to help those who feel hopeless. I treat the full spectrum of psychiatric illness to include, addiction, ADHD, Schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, anxiety, etc.

I am doctorally prepared from the University of Washington and board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Additionally, as a nurse of 30 years, my experience covers a broad spectrum of providing a multitude of services to individuals and families from all walks of life and economic backgrounds. As a board certified PMHNP, my practice will focus on providing services from the adolescent years throughout the life span. My goal is to meet you where you are in your journey and enhance you with tools that will be life changing. We will collaborate together to identify the best holistic approach.

I am accepting new clients on a case-by-case basis for medication management. I provide holistic, integrative psychiatric care to children, adolescents and adults with ADHD, mood, and trauma disorders, partnering with clients and their families to help them to achieve their health goals. Services I provide include comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, and brief psychotherapy. While I prescribe medications when needed, I address other factors that may be impacting your mental health such as exercise, sleep, nutrition, lifestyle, relationships and coping skills.

My primary areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety disorders, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, depression, and more. I heavily lean on mindfulness, spirituality, mind-body connection, creativity, and utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psycho-education, humanistic approach, and solution-focused therapy. Additionally, I use medication management to help my patients. In deciding the best medications, I utilize psychotropic pharmocogenomic testing, a genetic test that shows how your genes may affect medication outcomes.

I am an experienced board-certified psychiatrist who enjoys working with adults and older adolescents who want to reduce their suffering. I provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychotherapy, and individual and group mindfulness instruction. I have a holistic, welcoming approach. I offer in-person appointments and telehealth appointments are available after the first in-person session. I am not in network with insurance, but will happily provide you a statement that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
