I'm a Child Psychiatrist, also trained in Adult Psychiatry. I can help whether you're a mature adult with problems rooted in your past, or whether you're concerned about one of your children experiencing stress or difficulty, especially adolescents. I have a deep grounding in how we're shaped into the adults we become. I'm familiar with the forces, positive and negative, that operate between children and the significant adults in their lives. I'm interested in and co-wrote a paper about the overlap of Culture and Ethnicity in emotional disturbances.

Dr. Hadi is a Board Certified Adult and Child Psychiatrist, trained, experienced and certified to treat all age groups. Dr. Hadi have more than 10 years experience and interest treating clients with ADD, Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, Eating disorder, Trauma, Obsessive and Autistic spectrum disorders. Dr. Hadi also has extensive training and experience treating addiction disorders. He is credentialed to treat opiate addiction with Suboxone.

We treat a variety of psychiatric conditions including (but not limited to) psychiatric emergencies and urgent consults for depression, anxiety, psychosis, panic attacks, drug detox, and Medication Assisted Treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. We see patient 6 yrs old and up.

I believe that good mental health is a product of treating the whole person. This approach often includes psychotherapy and sometimes medication, as well as mindfulness meditation, exercise, and a healthy diet. In my experience, a whole-person centered approach can decrease reliance on medications and help the patient achieve a sense of agency in their psychological wellness.

She manages Hampton Psych NPs, PLLC, where she is currently taking clients in person appointments at 11030 Warwick Blvd, Ste A, Newport News VA or via Telehealth appointments (www.hamptonpsychnp.org). Nana collaborates with skilled Psychiatrist/MDs and experienced counselors and social workers to provide one-on-one individual, family, or group therapy sessions tailored towards the individuals’ unique situation.

Dr. Madeleine Wilson Hao is a doctorally prepared, double board-certified nurse practitioner with 10+ years of clinical experience, specializing in both psychiatry and family medicine. At NOVA Family Health, we will take the time needed to understand each client and family's unique circumstances and tailoring our approaches accordingly. Dr. Harkrader grew up in Virginia and attended the University of Virginia Medical School. For over thirty years, she had a private practice of General Psychiatry in Loudoun County, VA. After closing that practice at the end of 2021, she joined Lifestance to work as primarily as a Consultant and supervisor of Psychiatric Nurse practitioners.

My patients come to me with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, problems with attention and focus, work performance and academic difficulties, and relationship problems. They seek help to relieve their suffering and improve their ability to function in their daily lives. Given my education, training and experience working in Primary/Urgent Care practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner and working for 15 years in private practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am able to offer an approach to treatment that focuses on the whole person to achieve an optimum level of physical and mental health.

Dr. Olawuyi is a Certified and Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of rich medical experience spanning mental, addiction, and behavioral health management across the lifespans. Dr. O', as her patients fondly refer to her, fosters empathetic therapeutic environments that stimulate warm and compassionate relationships and assist her patients in building on their core values.

I am privileged to provide care to patients across the lifespan and intersections of identity with a primary focus on those 14 years of age and up. Through in-person and virtual appointments in an outpatient setting, I treat various mental health conditions and emotional challenges with a clinical focus on depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and other mood disorders.

Dr. Stuart Hedgpeth is a board-eligible psychiatrist. While Dr. Hedgpeth primarily focuses on medication management, he understands that mental health often requires approaches from multiple perspectives. Psychodynamic and supportive therapies are offered on an as-needed basis in addition to medication management. New patients are provided 60 minutes for initial visits and follow ups are given 30 minutes.

Anita Herrera began her career as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse and went on to attend Walden University in order to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Since 2018, she has gained experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings. She prefers working with adults and performing mental health assessments in order to provide effective care based on appropriate diagnoses of psychiatric conditions. She approaches her medication management with consistency and compassion providing education to patients and families along with supportive therapy.

Crystal is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in providing psychiatric treatment and consultative care for very young children, adolescents, teens and adults. She brings over 17 years of nursing experience in the mental health field, including work in both inpatient, outpatient, and residential psychiatric settings. Crystal received her Master's of Nursing from the University of Virginia. She enjoys working with and helping individuals & families with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, autism, history of trauma, psychosis &mood disorders.
