My name is Violet Ashu with license 1036136. My approach involves providing client-centered mental health services using evidence-based, holistic, individualized care to enable clients to achieve a healthy, productive, and positive sense of self. Violet acquired proficiency in treating and managing mental health diagnoses such as Mood disorders-MDD, Bipolar disorders, Resistant depression, PTSD, Anxiety disorders, BPD, ADHD, Schizoaffective disorder, Psychosis, and more. Treats clients with substance use disorder and dual diagnosis.
My approach includes but is not limited to promoting mental health being, preventing future, mental health issues using psychotherapy and medication management which enable relief from symptoms, maintaining or enhancing daily functioning, and improving quality of life. The theoretical approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy and talk therapy.
My tone will be soft clear, and commanding in a safe, quiet, culturally sensitive, and client friendly. Communication methods include verbal and nonverbal, feedback, posture, good eye contact, building a good rapport, and writing. The clients would feel working with me is friendly, easy, and trusting.
