Hello there, I am Tracie Grider, a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Virginia. I have over 18 years of nursing experience mostly working in the mental health care field. My approach to treatment is collaborating with my patients to improve their mental health by providing education on the disease process, and medication use, as well as supporting overall wellbeing.

As a dual board certified psychiatrist, it is my goal to not only give you a diagnosis and treatment plan, but also to put you at ease with psychiatry. To me, seeing a psychiatrist should be no different than seeing a Cardiologist for your heart, or a physical therapist for your broken leg. You just want a better quality of life! I enjoy treating adults with depression, anxiety, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, and sleep problems. I am also trained in psychosomatics and am very comfortable treating medically complex patients and pregnant women.

My approach is to focus on the whole patient and follow evidence-based treatment guidelines and bring about a positive change. I treat patients with ADHD, depression, OCD, Trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, sleep problems, Traumatic brain injuries (TBI), dementias and women's mental health. I also discuss treatment options like Ketamine and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), TMS for severe depression.

Heidi offers a place for patients to feel welcomed, heard, and supported. She also provides patients with competent treatment plans. Frequent appointments are available for titrating medications quickly and effectively along with mental health check-ins.

Greetings! I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 12 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. My approach is patient-centered and holistic, creating a therapeutic partnership with each client. I advocate for patient empowerment through family and patient education, clear communication, and trust to help improve quality of life. My experience in medical and mental health allows me to make appropriate treatment plans, therapy and medication recommendations, if necessary. I am a Board Certified adult psychiatrist with subspecialty training and certification in Consultation Liaison (C-L) psychiatry. I have extensive clinical experience in working with inpatient and outpatient population. During my extra year of training in C-L Psychiatry, I learned to integrate medical conditions into mental health. I am experienced in working with people from different cultural background and have learned to incorporate cultural factors into the treatment process. I believe in providing collaborative care, and would like to involve parents and families to provide best available treatment.

Shealyn Cyr, MD is a board-certified Psychiatrist in Virginia who has been practicing since 2006. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio, her medical school at Texas A&M University, College of Medicine, and her Residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern. Dr. Cyr believes in a balanced approach to psychiatric health through a model that integrates medication, cognitive behavioral therapy, and thorough medical evaluation.

Maggie is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Neuroscience from Miami University. Since 2013 she has worked in various settings, such as: community mental health, private practice, corrections, and skilled/assisted nursing facilities. Maggie specializes in geriatric psychiatry, anxiety disorders (including post traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder), mood disorders (including major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder) ADHD.
