Steinia has 6 years of experience as a physician assistant in adult inpatient internal medicine. There, she gained wonderful experience diagnosing and treating a variety of serious medical conditions from all specialties and body systems, including psychiatry. Steinia has always had a passion for wellness, mindfulness and a holistic approach to mental health and therefore transitioned specialties to a mental health focus. She believes in the importance of combining medications and therapy with other evidence-based practices, including creating and maintaining healthy relationships, regular exercise, and improved sleep.

I was born and raised in Utah. Before becoming a Physician Associate (PA), I was a medical assistant for over 10 years in various settings. I then went on to obtain my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) in Provo and am currently working towards my Doctorate of Medical Sciences (DMSc) at RMUoHP where I am increasing my skills in Mental Health diagnosis and management as well as various therapeutic skills.

Jamie Mathews is an APRN, PMHNP-BC who has been a Nurse for over 20 years. She taught psychiatric patient care over 14 years after working in Home Health/Hospice, ICU, and Med-Surg. She became passionate for mental health and caring for others who need support and assistance for improved mental health while training nursing students in psychiatric hospitals, and has grown her knowledge of and interest in mental health ever since. Jamie works at a psychiatric hospital and works outpatient psychiatric care which she feels is the best of both worlds.

Melissa is a psychiatric nurse practitioner intern completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor’s in nursing and has worked as a registered nurse in a residential eating disorder treatment center and as a pediatric oncology nurse.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Todd is a dedicated and empathetic mental health specialist with a passion for helping individuals find balance, recovery, and happiness in their lives. He has extensive experience in the field, having started his career as a psychiatric nurse and later serving as manager of Utah Valley Hospital's inpatient psychiatry department. He received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and post-graduate certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of South Alabama. He is also an assistant professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Sajid Faizi is a Psychiatrist in Utah who has been practicing since 2004. Dr. Faizi assesses the needs of the client and helps manage them. Outside of work, Dr. Faizi likes to spend time with family, enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, barbecue, and play table tennis.

Dr. Thomas is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He received post graduate degrees from the University of Utah with training in mental health and Psychiatry. Currently Dr. Thomas is an Adjunct Faculty member at Brigham Young University. He has also provided clinical services to a number of organizations including Utah Valley Psychiatric and Counseling Clinic, Valley Mental Health and Intermountain Healthcare. Dr. Thomas also belongs to a number of professional associations related to mental health and nursing.
