She graduated with a masters degree in education and administration from the University of Phoenix and as an APRN from the University of Utah in 2003. She has enjoyed working with a variety of populations, which include the seriously mentally ill homeless population, substance abuse and all types of mental health settings. She approaches every client that she sees with an open mind and to allow the client to be a partner in their own treatment.

Katey started her career working primarily with adolescents at the Huntsman Mental Health (formerly University Neuropsychiatric Institute). She has over 10 years of in-patient mental health experience. Katey believes in using evidence-based therapies and creating a collaborative environment with her clients. She emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach and the use of medications along with therapy.

When ketamine is used in this guided therapy approach, it allows patients to discover root causes and the limiting beliefs and perspectives driving their mental health challenges.

Shane has worked in the medical field since 2004 and specialized in critical care nursing where he cared for his fellow veterans at the Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. He has served in the military for 20 years and is currently a provider in the Utah Air National Guard med group.
