I am a board-certified advanced nurse practitioner in psychiatry and family medicine since 2015. I provide Psychiatric Evaluation and medication management services both in person and through Tele-medicine to ages 14 and older. I devote my time, attention, and work collaboratively with each individual to customized the goals, interventions, and to optimize care plans. I am a UTSW trained Adult and Child/Adolescent psychiatrist providing customized treatment based on individual needs. I am committed to improving the wellness of my patients through a flexible and responsive approach. I specialize in diagnosing and treating depression, mood problems, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral issues associated with cognitive and developmental delays and other psychiatric illnesses. I am well versed in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), family therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy (insight-oriented psychotherapy). I'm board certified (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.

Elyse Smith is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Texas who has been practicing since 2024. She earned a Bachelor’s of Public Health at the University of Alabama and a Master’s of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Elyse believes in creating an individualized treatment plan for each patient and collaborating with the treatment team to help meet all the needs of each patient. She strives to establish a trustworthy report with every patient. Outside of work, Elyse enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and cooking.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), both certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am providing integrated care, using a multi-directional approach to touch the base of all mental and physical illnesses.

She is comfortable treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. Mary's diverse education allows her to take a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Outside of work, Mary enjoys music, spending time with friends and family, and sports.

May Wang is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, she obtained her Master’s in nursing with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. May has several years of mental health experience working with a variety of patients in different settings. Her clinical background includes delivering psychiatric services to underserved communities in the state institution, children and adolescents with behavioral and neurobehavioral diagnoses and adults with mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders.
