Zuraima Caldera, MD is a dedicated, committed, and caring mental health provider. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She has extensive expertise in areas as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Phobic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Tic Disorders, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), disorders related to the Autism Spectrum, among others. Dr. Caldera is the founder of Balanced Minds.

I provide individualized psychiatric treatment with careful use of medications along with psychotherapy to adults and older adolescents. After completing psychiatric residency at University of Michigan in 1994, I became a diplomat of American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in 1996. I have worked in various clinical and academic settings as a consultant and a teacher.

AnnMarie Staats is a is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a post- Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Staats has experience treating adults and adolescents 16 years and older with an array of mental health issues. She provides medication management and therapy in an outpatient setting for patients experiencing depression, anxiety mood disorders including bipolar disorders. Her clinical training includes work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating and addiction disorders. Only accepting new patients in person in Liberty Hill Office.

Amanda Anazia MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, as well as a certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the inaugural class of 2012. Amanda obtained her MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she specialized in Family in 2020. She also obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021.

Ugochi Rufus is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP- BC), certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Rufus received her Masters degree in Nursing, from the University of South Alabama.
