As a psychiatrist with over 9 years of experience, I am adept at treating mental health concerns ranging from mood and anxiety disorders to interpersonal difficulties and life challenges. Knowing that these problems can affect anyone and cause significant impairment in one's life, I strive to provide compassionate and comprehensive care with the goal of restoring my patients to the state of mind and level of functioning they expect. My approach is an integrative one, wherein I assess one's psychological, emotional, medical and environmental contributors to problems and address these in treatment using both psychotherapy and medication management.

Walter provides medication management, brief supportive therapy, lifestyle coaching, solution-focused, and goal-oriented therapeutic interventions to individuals from ages 13 years and older, who struggle with depression anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, psychotic and other mood disorders to overcome crippling negative self-talk and reclaim their confidence, purpose, and joy. His philosophy focuses on a multi-faceted practical approach of individualized client-centered care, to achieve overall wellness treatment goals.

I work with clients of all ages to help maximize functioning at home, work, school, and in social settings. Clients often feel overwhelmed with mental health struggles, and I develop a therapeutic relationship to build the foundation of my care. I place an emphasis on evidence-based practice and compassionate care. I also believe in holistic family based care and place an emphasis on sleep, nutrition, activity, and self-care.

I hold a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas and am dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). Additionally, I completed a certificate program in Gerontology Healthcare. With years of experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice.

Omotayo Gbengaojo is a board-certified Psychiatric mental health Nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC). She obtained her bachelor's in nursing from Grand Canyon University and master's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. Omotayo or "Tayo" as she is fondly called, clinical experience span medical and psychiatry nursing.

As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner working in the practice of Lee Spencer, MD, I provide comprehensive and personalized care for individuals 17 and older who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, mood disorders (including depression & bipolar disorder), post-traumatic stress, ADHD, problematic substance use, addictive disorders, and many other psychiatric illnesses.

Kathryn Farishta is a fellowship-trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. Her compassion and dedication earned her the honor of being selected as one of the DFW's Top 100 Nurses of 2023. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing from UTA, subsequently earning board certification from the ANCC. Post-graduation she completed a community-focused psychiatric advanced practice provider fellowship where she trained throughout the healthcare continuum including psychiatric emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and consult-liaison services.
