When working with children, teens, adults and families I address the difficulties in behaviors, feelings and thinking presented. An initial evaluation explores present and past concerns involving school, work, family, crises, peers, emotions, thought patterns, development, physical health, and environment. A treatment plan is coordinated with the patient that unifies the biological, psychological and social issues. An integrated approach includes referrals to other professionals as needed. By practicing evidence based medication management, I review each patient's concerns during the initial assessment and at follow up appointments.

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 18 years of clinical experience. I have an extensive experience with child and adult psychiatry. Through the years I have gained extensive experience in treating clients experiencing attention deficit, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, chronic illness, and substance use issues. I use an integrative and client-centered approach to help clients build strength and clarity of mind to find their purpose.

Bridget N. Shu, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a background as a certified medical assistant. She developed a holistic approach to patient care during her nursing career, leading to a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University Utah. With experience in medical and psychiatry hospitals, she recognized the impact of mental health on daily lives and relationships. Mrs. Shu furthered her education with a master’s in nursing specializing in Mental Health from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. I completed my adult psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I then completed my child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I am Board Certified in General, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. DiCarlo is a physician/medical doctor specializing in adult and child psychiatry. At The Menninger Clinic, Texas Children's Hospital, and Tufts Medical Center, Dr. DiCarlo trained with leaders in psychoanalytic and family therapies, advanced psychopharmacology, and evidence-based medicine. Dr. DiCarlo helps people with a wide variety of problems including trauma, depression, anxiety, and psychosis. In most cases, she leans strongly into the importance of psychotherapy. When medications are prescribed, it is typically with thoughtful integration of psychotherapy as well.

Dr. Randall McIntyre has been practicing Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry in the Austin area for over thirty years. He was raised in Midland, Texas. He holds a BA- biology from The University of Texas - Austin, and an MD from The University of Texas Medical School-Houston. He did his internship in Family Practice at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Subsequently, he completed residencies in General and Child Psychiatry at UTHSC-Houston. He is doubly Boarded in Child and Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
