I know your time is valuable. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with Fellowships in Psychoanalysis and Mindfulness based treatments. I provide individualized treatment for those dealing with concerns about mood, anxiety, or struggles in one or more areas of life. While I offer short sessions of psychiatric care, my area of expertise is long sessions integrating treatments such as psychoanalysis talk therapy, exercise, mindfulness, and medications when indicated.

I am a Board Certified psychiatrist, and have been practicing in North Dallas and Plano for over 30 years. My specialty is mood disorders (including Bipolar Disorder), but I also treat anxiety disorders, eating disorders, ADD/ ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, relationship and situational stress (including gender issues), and virtually any other situations that need professional consultation. While not an Addictions Psychiatrist, I have treated alcohol and substance use disorders for my entire career. Many substance use issues benefit from medication judiciously prescribed to assist in preventing cravings or relapse behaviors or to treat co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

Seema Kazi, MD completed her dual-residency program in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut in 1998, and in 1999 continued on to complete her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at NYU. She has been in private practice for over 20 years and has worked as the Medical Director at Princeton House Behavioral Health Inpatient Services, providing the highest level of care for people of all ages that were struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or a combination of both. She moved from New Jersey to the greater DFW area to be near her family in 2013.

Mariam Onikosi is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She graduated from Walden University. She has a strong history of success in the treatment of psychiatric illness, medical and emotional illness including environmental, sociological, psychological, and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders. She focuses on developing a personalized treatment plan while utilizing evidence-based pharmacological and non pharmacological modalities to support each client.
