Dr. Clark is a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and subsequent child fellowship at UT Health Science Center of Houston. She has provided quality patient-centered care in various community mental health, inpatient, outpatient, residential, consult liaison and emergency room settings in Texas and New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Clark has held volunteer academic appointments where she instructed medical students, residents & fellows at Baylor College of Medicine, UT Southwestern and Rutgers.

Dr. Orejarena’s is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She finished her residency from Yale University and the University of Texas Houston. She has done extensive research on psychiatry during her PhD in Neuropsychopharmacology and a Masters in Neuroscience. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She incorporates different therapy modalities and evidence-based treatments, tailored to each person’s needs. She enjoys applying her knowledge in neuroscience and pharmacology into her clinical practice and believes combination of medication and psychotherapy yields best treatment outcomes.

Dr. Alexis Kropf is a board-certified adult psychiatrist beginning her practice at Talkiatry after four years of clinical experience in residency. Dr. Kropf primarily focuses on providing medication management during 30-minute follow-up visits, weaving in elements of supportive therapy according to the needs of her clients. When additional therapy is indicated to promote recovery, Dr. Kropf may recommend that her clients work with a therapist as part of the treatment team.

Dr. Rachel Sherhart is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who has been in practice for over 4 years. Dr. Sherhart specializes in medication management with 30-minute follow-up visits. This may be accompanied by elements of supportive therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy. If more in-depth work is needed, she may refer patients to a collaborating psychotherapist.

Karen (often referred to by her trusting patients as Dr. I) is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has years of nursing experience in a variety of settings in Behavioral health.

Dr. Ayanna Swinton Jamison is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 18 years of experience in general psychiatry. She has extensive experience in counseling, medication management, Ketamine infusions, Spravato, and ElectricMagnetic Therapy. Dr. Jamison is committed to educating her patients about their illnesses and providing personalized care for each patient.
