I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), both certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am providing integrated care, using a multi-directional approach to touch the base of all mental and physical illnesses.

I am a dual-certified family and mental health nurse practitioner. I have a background as a mental health nurse working with mental health patients of all ages since 2013. It was there I found my passion in the mental health field. I am so excited our society is finally shedding more light on these issues. There has been a stigma for far too long. I firmly believe that mental health disorders are one of the most difficult diseases to live with and can impact so many aspects of our lives. Disorders such as depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders can lead to poor physical health, & I am here to help prevent this from happening!

Seeking mental health treatment in itself can be a challenging prospect for many people. I'm glad you are taking this step! I aim to help patients feels comfortable, safe and that they are in partnership with me to meet their goals. By working together, therapy can be a rewarding experience where patients come to understand themselves, relationships, and patterns of interacting in new ways to effect positive change. At times, medication is needed in conjunction with therapy to address acuity of symptoms and augment progress. In addition to individual and family therapy, I offer medication evaluation and management as needed.

Dr. Ingrid Schmidt is a licensed child, adolescent and general psychiatrist in the Austin, TX area. For over 40 years she has been able to help patients achieve outstanding results with regards to their mental health. Her extensive psychiatric background allows her to diagnose issues and present solutions with a wisdom well-earned from her many years of experience.

Jessy Cecil is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of extensive nursing experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix, and Post-Master’s certification in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University. Her approach is holistic and patient-centered care in collaboration with other healthcare providers. She places patients’ safety as the priority in addition to quality and cost-effectiveness. She believes that not one size fits all.

Ally Cox is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Texas who has been practicing since 2023. Ally offers a collaborative, holistic approach while providing realistic and evidence-based care. She has experience in clinical research and a passion for educating and empowering clients. Outside of work, Ally enjoys reading, hiking, and crafting.

I aim for a for a collaborative approach with my patients. I wants to work together with each patient to provide holistic care that works. I have a personal interest in overall wellness outside of the treatment plan, which incorporates wellness via nutrition, exercise, sleep, meditative practices, and medication or other medical interventions when appropriate. I'm also a believer in other interventional treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy. These alternatives not only are proven to be effective, but they also provide more options for each patient.

Dr. Christine Masuda is the psychiatric medical director of the Austin location of Sigma. Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care takes same day appointments and is open 7 days a week except major holidays. Our Austin location has limited in person services and we request that you call to schedule in Austin. We treat people during gaps in care, while they are waiting to get an appointment in the community, and we can continue treatment long-term when our clinic is the best fit for an individual's needs.

Dr. Moore is a Christian practitioner board certified in both Psychiatry and Family Practice and specializes in psychiatric medication management. Although Dr. Moore treats patients across the lifespan, he has a special interest in treating the geriatric population.
