As a Brain Injury Medicine Psychiatrist, I am passionate about helping high-achieving individuals who are facing the challenges of medical and neurological co-morbidities, particularly those who have experienced Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), whether recently or in the past. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance to patients recovering from TBI, who may be dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, memory deficits and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as they work towards reclaiming their sense of self and achieving their optimal well-being once again.

I am a Physician Assistant at Stella Center with sixteen-plus years of experience. We specialize in identifying which innovative medical treatments & virtual therapies can help relieve symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD & TBI. After completing a virtual assessment together that accounts for medical, biological, psychological & social factors, I provide individualized treatment recommendations across our advanced protocols: the dual sympathetic reset (an advanced stellate ganglion block), ketamine infusions, integration therapy, and more. She works closely with a residential treatment center in West Los Angeles that offers more intensive treatment for trauma and OCD.

Dr. Hansen began her medical career in the Army National Guard as a medic. After completing 12 years education, she moved to Alaska to work in integrated care models for the Native American people at Southcentral Foundation. During this time, she served as an adult & adolescent psychiatrist & director for the dual-diagnosis addiction program. She gradually transitioned to the field of tele-psychiatry & assumed the role of Behavioral Health Director for multiple towns in Alaska while concomitantly working in California for LA County. She now practices concierge tele-psychiatry in AK, AZ, CA & FL & is accepting new clients.

Shame and anxiety (hidden or tormentingly on the surface) are key discomforts in each person; however, everyone is miraculously unique. In my practice, we aim to pinpoint the help you need and offer the quickest and most lasting treatment appropriate. Sometimes that is intensive psychotherapy that can be short-term or go on for years if appropriate; sometimes it is a few sessions of a technique like EMDR that sort-of resets the brain after an emotional trauma. Often I recommend brainwave biofeedback (EEG neurofeedback). Always I'm seeking the most naturalistic treatment, with the least amount of medication practical.

Dr. Iman Parhami is a triple-board certified psychiatrist (Child Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine) who completed his child and adolescent psychiatry training at Johns Hopkins University. He strongly believes that diagnoses do not define individuals. Instead, diagnoses can help classify a set of symptoms and can help identify empirically supported treatments for that class of symptoms. He also believes that psychiatric treatments cannot just include psychopharmacology but must include a multi-disciplinary approach that is family-driven and culturally sensitive.

I am a board certified psychiatrist and scientist with over 10 years experience in the practice of evidence-based medicine. While I specialize in treating patients experiencing disturbed moods and poor impulse control (e.g. Bipolar disorder and ADHD), I treat nearly the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions. With expertise in psychiatry and neurobiology I provide patients with an individualized approach that combines the most effective tools including cognitive-behavioral therapy and state-of-the-art psychopharmacology.

Dr. Alexa Hall was born and raised in New England. She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Providence College and her M.D. from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She then completed her general psychiatry residency at Harvard South Shore in Massachusetts with clinical training throughout many affiliated hospitals of Harvard Medical School and the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System.

I am a board certified psychiatrist and I specialize in psychotherapy with adults. I also prescribe medication, when indicated, either in combination with psychotherapy or alone. I work with people with a wide variety of symptoms for coming to see a psychiatrist. Every person is unique. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, including the sports world, the entertainment industry, business, teaching, students, parenting and other settings.
