I specialize in helping clients manage depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, substance abuse, and bipolar disorder with a combination of medication and therapy. I enjoy thoroughly educating clients, their families and caregivers about treatment options and working collaboratively to make sure clients have the information they need to make the best decisions for their care. Welcome! I am glad you are here. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that provides medication management and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults. I have been working in the mental health field for over 5 years, and have experience in the in-patient, out-patient, and emergency room settings. I work with clients struggling with emotional disturbances and various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. We manage a wide spectrum of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, ADHD and insomnia. Patients with these conditions have the best chance of improvement when they have regular appointments with the same physician who works with the patient in a professional setting.

Dr. Seth Thompson is a board-certified psychiatrist with an expertise in Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Addictive Medicine. He completed his medical residency training at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine where he had the opportunity to train with a diverse population of both providers and patients. He continues to reside in the eastern portion of Tennessee providing care for patients from a large swath and catchment area of southwest Virginia, southeast Kentucky, West Virginia, eastern and middle Tennessee, and northwest North Carolina.

Will is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 10+ years of experience working in Mental Health. He specializes in psychiatric medication management as well as psychotherapy and sees children (ages 6 and up), adolescents and adults with a range of conditions including but not limited to ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and autism. Will works collaboratively with clients in an open and nonjudgmental manner, often with humor, curiosity, and intentional therapeutic self-disclosure to help uncover the biological, medical, spiritual and social dimensions of concerns.

I take great joy in assisting children and adults find renewal through the challenges they face and directing you towards the appropriate medication to bring about this change. Based upon self-report measures my patients dealing with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress experience 50-60 percent improvement in symptoms within 3 months while people suffering from ADHD experience 60-80 percent improvement in symptoms within 3 months. When the right medication is combined with therapy patients report even higher rates of response.
