Welcome! I am glad you are here. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that provides medication management and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults. I have been working in the mental health field for over 5 years, and have experience in the in-patient, out-patient, and emergency room settings. I work with clients struggling with emotional disturbances and various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.

Dr. Bartek is a Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is board-certified in General Psychiatry and Pediatrics, and board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. She has been caring for children and adolescents as a physician for 15 years. Dr. Bartek’s approach is holistic, collaborative, supportive, and patient-centered. Dr. Bartek draws on her years as a pediatrician working with families and children in her work as a psychiatrist. Dr. Bartek incorporates therapeutic techniques into medication management visits, but she may also recommend adding a therapist to your care team for the best results.

Dr. Reynolds started her practice to serve her patients and help them lead enriched and fulfilling lives. She will guide and support you as you navigate life’s stressors and challenges. In addition to medication, she will use a comprehensive approach for your mental health needs that focuses on the whole self. It takes courage to ask for help and Dr. Reynolds will use her knowledge and compassion to help you achieve your treatment goals. Dr. Angela Shields is a board-certified adult and addiction psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience. Dr. Shields’ clinical expertise includes treating adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and substance abuse. Dr. Shields’ greatest passion is bringing healing and hope to those experiencing stress in their lives. Dr. Shields takes an evidence-based, whole health approach to patient care and believes in meeting you “where you are” on your road to recovery. Dr. Shields will welcome you with empathy and sincerity combined with a direct approach to treatment.

Dr. Lindsay Works is board certified in Psychiatry as well as Addiction Medicine. Before joining Talkiatry, Dr. Works was a staff Psychiatrist at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and the clinical consultant for substance abuse treatment at Fort Campbell, KY, providing patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting. After completing 8 years of active duty service, Dr. Works honorably left army service at the rank of Major.

Dr. Dominique Holley is a triple board-certified psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Holley completed her post-doctoral residency and fellowship training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She has served as an active US Army officer and recently separated from the US Army after 11 years of service. In her most recent role, she served as the Deputy Chief of the Department of Behavioral Health at Fort Campbell, KY where she provided clinical and administrative supervision, as well as mentorship and guidance for an interdisciplinary team of over 140 personnel.

Dr. S. Taylor Williams is a psychiatrist with Talkiatry.  She is board-certified in psychiatry and has been practicing over 14 years. Dr. Williams received her MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at UAB. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  Prior to joining Talkiatry, she held an academic appointment to UTHSC as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, and was the Clinical Director of the Memphis Mental Health Institute.  She specializes in the treatment of young adults and LGBTQ patients. Her practice focuses on medication management.

Verner is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with 15+ years of experience working with children and adults of all ages with a variety of mental health needs. Dr. Verner grew up in Nashville and graduated from Harpeth Hall School. She received her B.A. from Princeton University and her M.D. from Vanderbilt School of Medicine. She completed five years of residency and fellowship training in general and child psychiatry at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She served as chief resident in her final year of training.

Dr. Michael Lukowski is an adult psychiatrist who holds board certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been practicing medicine for over 8 years. Dr. Lukowski focuses on medication management combined with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. He practices whole-person medicine, caring for the wellness of your mind, body, and spirit and helping you enjoy your relationships with those around you.

I am a doctorally prepared, dually board certified nurse practitioner who has experience as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Having worked extensively with hospitalized patients in various psychiatric settings in the past, I now see patients exclusively in my private practice in middle Tennessee near Vanderbilt University.

Belmont Behavioral Health is a mental health care service provider located in the downtown Clarksville, Tennessee area.
