Dr. Lalita Ramnaraine is Board Certified in both General Adult Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has been practicing for over 12 years. Dr. Ramnaraine’s practice focuses on medication management, which is offered in conjunction with therapy offered in 30-minute follow-up visits. Dr. Ramnaraine is pro-therapy and believes the best outcome in treatment is when therapy and medication modalities are combined.

Dr. Seth Thompson is a board-certified psychiatrist with an expertise in Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Addictive Medicine. He completed his medical residency training at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine where he had the opportunity to train with a diverse population of both providers and patients. He continues to reside in the eastern portion of Tennessee providing care for patients from a large swath and catchment area of southwest Virginia, southeast Kentucky, West Virginia, eastern and middle Tennessee, and northwest North Carolina.

My private practice provides psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy and medication management. I work collaboratively with each person to tailor the most current treatment modalities to meet their individual needs.

I am ANCC Board Certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and specialize in medication management. I have over 8+ years of working as an emergency department registered nurse. I believe those years were monumental in teaching me empathy and compassion. Nobody has the same story to tell. We all deserve to be treated with kindness and understanding no matter what choices we have made in life. Without a doubt, it can be challenging to prioritize your mental health but I believe that in doing so, we are choosing to advocate for ourselves.

I am dedicated to helping people suffering from a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, ocd, social anxiety, panic, autism, adhd, relationship difficulties and behavioral problems. It is a privilege to walk alongside people and help them resolve symptoms they find distressing and improve their quality of life. Ensuring a safe, therapeutic relationship, I allow individuals to share their struggles openly and honestly, and together we pursue healing and hope. We will consider biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may be creating problems and address each of these as part of our work together.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Memphis medical school in 1999 and then continued my training in psychiatry at Duke University where I served as chief resident of the Duke Inpatient service. I provide therapy and medication management for personality disorders, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, sleeping disorders, addiction and attention deficit disorder. Medications are important but are not necessary in every case. I believe that through education, therapy, counseling, and sometimes medication everyone can return to their previous level of functioning and enjoy life to the fullest. I have been in practice 17yrs.

Shahid Ali, MD, Gold Medalists is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Board Certified Addiction Medicine Specialist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders. Dr. Ali utilizes Buprenorphine to assist patients struggling with opioid use disorder. In addition to medication assisted treatment Dr. Ali works with patients diagnosed with psychiatric disorders, offers medication management for Bi-polar and mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, and anxiety disorders.

David Wells PMHNP-BC is a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for patient-centered care. With extensive hospital nursing experience, he saw the urgent need for mental health services in his community. Motivated to make a difference, he pursued higher education to become a PMHNP. David believes in holistic care, prioritizing trust and empathy in patient relationships. He creates safe spaces for open dialogue and personalized and evidence based treatment plans.
