My goal is to help people in need to achieve mental wellness. While meeting each patient where they are on their journey to a stronger healthier mental well-being. Assisting with symptoms of depression, anxiety and ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders and various other mental health concerns. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years. In those 20 years I have delveloped the skill to listen and strive to understand what my patients are going through. I want people to know that they are not alone. That someone cares and is willing to help. I see patients across the lifespan. Ages 6 years through 99 years.

As a provider who is neurodivergent, queer, and Black, I provide a unique perspective when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. Hello! I'm a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) based in Tennessee. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. I completed a 1 year residency at the Memphis VA Medical Center and have been practicing via telehealth for the past 3 years. When not in clinic, I also work as a professor in a DNP: Mental Health program. In practice, I collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, with a focus on promoting holistic wellness and empowering individuals to achieve their mental health goals.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist Tennessee. I have trained in Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family and Marital therapy, as well as Psychiatric Medication Management. I have always believed that brain health is the key to every form of well being and every individual regardless of their diagnosis or symptoms has the potential to be healthier. Memphis native, Crystal Harris, is ANCC board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2006) and Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (2013) from Union University. Additionally, she holds a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Massachusetts at Boston (2018).

I treat patients holistically, which involve addressing the interconnected aspects of an individuals well-being, including physical, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions.
