Francis Segovia is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She is qualified to diagnose, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medications to children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders. Francis has experience working with individuals who experience symptoms of anxiety, impulsivity, depression, insomnia, trauma, abuse, obsessive compulsive, adjustment, behavioral, and psychosis. She has over 14 years of experience working with individuals from ages 10 to 95.

Have you ever struggled with lack of confidence, grief, feeling depressed, frustrated, or uncertain about making a difficult transition? If so, I believe we can work together to find a solution. I understand that everyone is unique and likely responds differently to life challenges. At times we may need help distinguishing the things we can and cannot change in our lives; at other times, we need additional encouragement to make necessary changes in our lives. As a nurse for nearly 20 years, building trust, offering hope and words of encouragement, has repeatedly reminded me of the power of empathy and compassion.

Deidre is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who manages and treats adults with a wide variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, sleeping disorders, and male/female issues. As a woman of color, an immigrant, and someone who has persevered through infertility to accomplish my dreams, I can identify with some unique challenges that individuals may face. As we face different circumstances, we will need different levels of psychological support and assistance throughout our lives. She also believes in engaging in a therapeutic rapport.

As a board certified psychiatrist, I have trained and specialized in the assessment and management of mental health conditions. I enjoy engaging and collaborating with patients in addressing their situation on their unique life journey.

There is a daily increase in mental illness. We always need to remember that mental illness is treatable and most of the time curable. It needs a very specific goal oriented plan.

Helping people accomplish their potential and live fulfilling lives is the goal that we work towards. Unconditional acceptance and finding a way forward, identifying the conflicts, resolving them for a happier tomorrow are the focus of treatment. I enjoy working with patients suffering with depression, anxiety disorders, chronic pain and addictive disorders. Chronic conditions take away not only from the individual, but also from the families.
