She is a native Texan, an Aggie, and received her medical degree in 2012 from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. Her psychiatry residency was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
