Hello! I'm Alicia Ellis. Choosing you is the first step towards gaining control over your mental health because, honestly – initiating therapy can be scary and enlightening all at the same time. I am passionate about assisting patients who have experienced trauma-related experiences. I can assist Veterans that experienced PTSD, anxiety, substance use disorders, and depression. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows my clients to explore their triggers that have caused them undue trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and/or self-care.

Treating patients, ages 14+, I utilize a highly individualized treatment approach in prescribing medications for a variety of diagnostic symptoms. There is no template for a human being. Therefore, I believe every person deserves to be heard, so that no nuance is missed. Patients who are struggling with depression, psychosis, mood swings, difficulty with concentration, sleep, motivation, bipolar illness, trauma, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, and more, must be able to share freely what their specific treatment needs are. Hi! I specialize in treating women (18+) with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, and trauma disorders. I offer an integrative approach to mental health that includes evidence-based psychiatric medications, complementary supplements, brief therapy interventions, and lifestyle suggestions. I believe that it is important to treat the root cause of the illness, rather than just treating the symptoms. I also specialized in treating patients through pregnancy and postpartum, as well as women in substance use and/or eating disorder recovery.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. She obtained a Certificate in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy from The Albert Ellis Institute in New York. She has maintained a private therapy practice in Nashville since 2011. She specializes in addictions with Dual Diagnosis, Trauma, PTSD and Complicated Grief from adolescents to adults, LGBTQ friendly.

Dr. Seth Thompson is a board-certified psychiatrist with an expertise in Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Addictive Medicine. He completed his medical residency training at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine where he had the opportunity to train with a diverse population of both providers and patients. He continues to reside in the eastern portion of Tennessee providing care for patients from a large swath and catchment area of southwest Virginia, southeast Kentucky, West Virginia, eastern and middle Tennessee, and northwest North Carolina.
